The history

Fairline was established in 1963 by Jack Newinton. The first boats were made out of Oundle Marina. Yet, it was not until 1967 that the first Fairline vessel was introduced. The handcrafted boats showed growth and in 1985 the company had to have new production sites in Weldon, Corby, and Nene Valley. Up until the growth in 1985, the boats offered were yachts, but not large yachts. It was not until 1991 that the large market boat a 62’ Fairline was introduced. In 2014 the manufacturer began an incorporation with resin infusion technology as well as monocoque deck construction. Currently, the company works with designer Alberto Mancini. Fairline has launced more than 12,000 ships since its induction into the boating industry.

Targa Boats

The Targa boats for sale from Fairline Yachts are express cruisers which have a contemporary design. The hull represents a bullet, being tapered at the bow but having a beveled (rather than the box or cut off) stern. Strong accent windows on the port and the starboard help to accentuate the aerodynamics of the vessel while the curves of the command center lend to the sleek, modernistic design. As this is a luxury yacht, even though it is an express yacht, focus has been given to the fabrics and materials used on both the decking as well as the interior space. The living areas are generally customized to the buyer’s needs. The Targa comes in an Open form and Grand Turismo style with a retractable hard top design.
