The cabin space does define the rooms quite well with a standard 2 stateroom layout. There is an optional three stateroom layout which allows for a fourth sleeping area. This does take away from the seating area, so potential buyers should weight the pros and cons of integrating another bed into the space. Access to the Sport Tower
To access the sport tower, the Viking Sport Yacht 42ST has built-in support ladders on both the port and the starboard. You may be able to have a hatch access added to the Viking ST, but this is not standard. The Tower access does not interfere with the stern of the boat as the base mount for the ladder is mounted much like the gunwale on the hull.
Sports Tower navigation is designed for standing and there is no captain’s chair standard with the fishing tower navigation/sports tower area. The focus of the tower is for a new vantage point for the fisherman.
