About this boat
TEMPTRESS, is a force to be reckoned with. This Taylor 41, was designed by Jim Taylor Yacht Designs, built by Mark Lindsey Boatbuilders in Gloucester, MA and commissioned in 1993. She has been under fabulous ownership ever since. Encompassing beauty and speed, she is an ideal candidate for anyone wishing to do some fierce racing both offshore and around the buoys. She has a full sized v-berth forward, for ample cruising berth space which can be removed to create a space for racing sail storage.
In her lifetime, TEMPTRESS has participated (and succeeded) in seven Newport to Bermuda races and is entered to race in 2020. She won her class in 2004 and more recently, earned second in her class in 2018. TEMPTRESS has fully measured rating certificates and is competitive under ORR, ORC, IRC, PHRF NB, PHRF NE, and OSC.
