Founded in 1994 by entrepreneur yachtsman Luca Bassani of Monaco, the prestigious Wally name reflects the highest level in award-winning innovative Italian design, function, and superlative luxury associated with the French Riviera or Miami Beach lifestyle. This shallow draft (3’11”) center console yacht with superyacht-style interior and exterior features, is ideal for day or overnight trips to explore islands, or local ports while the mothership is anchored out. Sides fold down to expand the aft deck area for a private “beach” at sea. Or take guests for a sunset cruise out on the bay to enjoy cocktails and casual dining aboard. Volvo Penta D6 IPS drives make the WallyTender 48 highly maneuverable and a snap to dock with joystick control—no need for bow thruster. Other benefits are increased performance and efficiency. Seakeeper stabilizer keeps her steady at anchor or in choppy seas, effectively reducing roll for comfort, without adding drag to the running surface like the passive below waterline fins or other appendages. The “Tender Owl” has only 187 original hours on the very reliable Volvo Penta D6 IPS engines and she is the only one available right now with no production wait.
