● Bow – refers to the front section of the boat
● Hull – the body of the boat (bottom body)
● Aft – refers to the rear section of the boat
● Console – the main portion of the boat, where controls are located
● Log – used to refer to a record regarding the operation of the boat
● Stern – similar to Aft, refers to the rear section of the boat
● Helm – the steering system of the boat
● Chart – the navigation map of a boat
