Design Features

When you look at the express line of boats which are currently available for sale, you will see that there are a few consistencies in the hull design. The design of the hull is a ribbed designed. Typically, the bow of the boat has a 11” or greater gunwale. There is no gunwales on the port or the starboard unless they are part of the custom packaging. The deadrise is low across the board which allow for control as well as speed on these vessels. When hardtop CCs are part of the design, expect to find wraparound dashes. There is a bit of angular features to the design (as opposed to other brands which have more of a curvature). Due to the angler nature of the manufacture and brand identity, the boat that you purchase will have an abundance of rocket rod holders as well as a 360 configuration for general use rod holders. Expect to find custom boats equipped with swivel captain’s chairs, added live bait wells, and amenities to the casting deck.

Power

The Carolina Classic boats for sale are powered by Yamaha outboard engines. The smaller boats are usually equipped with the dual 250Hp while the more lengthier boats get 300s or 350s. If you find a boat which has a Mercury (also a popular motor for Sport Fishing boats), it is probably post market added. Check for a transferable warranty if this is the case. If you purchase one of the 25’ boats with the intent of freshwater use, check the trolling and the boat specifications of your area.
