About Sea Hunt Escape Series

An escape from the ordinary

Those wishing to find a boat which is an escape from the day to day activities in life, may find that the Escape Series from Sea Hunt does just that. Developed upon the premise that a vessel should be able to provide first-class all-around family leisure, the Sea Hunt Escape Series epitomizes versatility. Unlike the Sea Hunt Bay, Sea Hunt Gamefish, or Sea Hunt Triton Series. The Sea Hunt Escape is specifically directed to multi-purpose use. And though the boats are 21’1” for the Sea Hunt Escape 2111 LE and 23’5” for the Sea Hunt Escape 235 SE, these small vessels have a lot to offer.

Dual-Consoles

The dual consoles of the boat make it to where you can conduct any water activity available. Owners will have to outfit the boat the optimize the desired functionality, but as a whole you can easily have a fishing as well as a water-sport oriented vessel. Keep in mind that you will not have the best wakeboard or angler boats. It is a compromise of having your boat fully developed for fishing or for water sports or if you wish to have your boat made for all purpose uses. That being stated, Sea Hunt Escape Series boats allow you to use packages to develop your boat more to the activities which it will perform.

While the boat allows for multiple uses in various types of waters, it is recommended that the Sea Hunt Escape Boats be used for inshore and for freshwater purposes. You may be able to take the boats offshore for day adventures, but due to the single 250HP engine as well as the lack of a cabin, extended off shoring is not recommended for Sea Hunt Escape Series boats.

Storage

Because the boats are all-purpose, the layout of the Sea Hunt Escape Series boats for sale have ample storage. There is not much under-deck storage, but the seating on the transom, the bot, side compartments, and the livewell all maximize the storage space. Additionally, the seating configuration of the boat allows for coolers and other non-storable items to have a place within the boat without cramping legs or causing blocks to the walking space.

The Bow

The Sea Hunt Escape Series boats have casting deck space on the bow. And while these decks provide a substantial area, as the beam of the boats are 8’2 and 8’6”, accessing the bow is a bit problematic. The Port and Starboard has a little walking room to the bow, but there is not a definitive walking/access as the console spans the entire width of the boat. Combine the dash, and you may find that you need to exit the boat to cast from the bow.

Overall Design

The Escape Series dual console all-purpose boats do not have a hardtop. The boat is more oriented to the family activities than to angler purposes, and so there is more of the speedboat and cuddy aesthetics and design to the series (even though it is a dual console). Further contributing to the family and all-around versatility of the boat is the transom design. On the backend, you find the access ladder while on the side you have the diving door. The design of the transom is high to minimize water splash, but there is enough of a slope so that when conducting water sports there is not a weird cut and step on the backend.

Because the Escape is intended for multiple use, the front of the hull is not a deep vee design. Rather it is a wider vee which allows for more control in navigation and weight disbursement.
