About this boat

Accommodations

The interior of Kimo is a study in the art of joinery. Exquisitely varnished teak trim, inlay, carving, and marquetry are all over the boat. The cabin sides and bulkheads are painted white, the opening ports are stainless steel and the cabin sole is varnished teak and holly. Headroom is 6’4″.

Starting in the forward stateroom there are two single berths in a crossover over/under configuration with storage in cubbyholes and shelves above and below. Next aft on port is the enclosed head area featuring a fresh water Vacuflush head. Opposite the head on starboard is locker storage. Next aft is the main salon with a dinette on port that converts to a double berth and a pilot berth on starboard with cubbyhole storage under and a small single settee. Outboard of the dinette is a water-maker, cubbyhole storage, drawers, and a bookshelf.

Aft of the salon on starboard is the chart table/navigation station with built in radar followed by a comfortable quarter-berth. On port is the L-shaped galley.

Galley

The L-shaped galley is aft of the salon on port and features a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, Force 10 stainless steel three burner propane stove and oven, top loading refrigerator box with Norcold 110V/12V refrigeration, and ample storage in shelves, lockers and cabinets.
