About this boat
Known throughout the world for its legendary ride, the Buddy Davis hull is designed to cut through monster head seas, run on rails in following seas, and lie still while drifting in deep troughs waiting for a strike. What’s Davis’s secret? The bottom. With her deep, narrow entry, LIMITED EDITION will never pound. She slices. With a substantial keel and solid skeg, she never wanders. LIMITED EDITION is a truly spectacular sport fish built by the legendary builder Buddy Davis.
LIMITED EDITION had an over $400k refit, in Miami in 2008-2009, from the keel up. This included a new interior, new commercial engines, new Tuna Tower, and flawless Ice Blue Awlgrip hull.
She has been active in many world class fishing tournaments and is a proven fish raiser. With her Carolina pedigree, immaculate condition, and proven track record, she is ready to go for the next serious tournament contender who wants all of the fishability of a proven fishing machine and the creature comforts of a yacht. I have personally fished her and have a relatively rare North Atlantic spearfish out there with my TBF tag on her.
