Typically, I have found that the titles are just embellishments to boost the retail value of the boat. Such is not the case with the Boston Whaler 240 Dauntless Pro. At the stern

Yes, there are fishing features such as the 4 rockets on the hardtop for the fisherman, and there are rod holders on the boat, but these are more of a standard feature than a prime feature of the boat. Boating with the Boston Whaler 240 dauntless boats can be done in any water in the Florida area as you are only contending with one motor and not a large vessel. There is enough power that a person can go along Miami Beach and ski and there is enough limitation that a person could also cruise down the Suwanee River without much difficulty. The boat can be used in fresh as well as salt water, as there are options to incorporate fresh water (for drinking and otherwise) storage and distribution on the vessel.
This craft is not intended for deep sea fishing or for offshore boating. The one engine is powerful, but is not powerful enough to combat heavy waves, wind, and such which typically arise when one gets further out to sea. The boat should do well in most areas of the Gulf when operated properly.
