Performance and Power
The Princess yachts are designed to deliver speed and performance perfectly to the client, but the standard engine configuration offered is twin MAN V8 1200s. The individual engines for the Princess S 60 are up to the customer to meet with their every expectation, but the engines alone are not what aids in the performance of the yacht. The yacht utilizes 5 blade nickel plated propellers that seamlessly slice through the eater and the power assisted electro hydraulic steering system allows the yacht to drive like a dream. Combined with bow thrusters with 287 lbs./f capacity, this vessel is easy too manage and a joy to pilot.
Accommodations
It is impossible to design a beautiful yacht without focusing a considerable amount of attention on the interior sleeping accommodations of the vessel. The Princess Yachts today offer complete comfort and the S60 provides ample space for up to 6 to sleep easily within the space. The standard three stateroom configuration maintains a master suite at midship to take full advantage of the 16’ 1” beam of the yacht complete with its own sitting area, large closet, and expansive head compartment. The bow of the vessel is devoted to the second stateroom with full berth and private access to the main head compartment. The third stateroom is conveniently located between the bow and midship offering maximum versatility with the option of a full berth, twin beds side by side, or a bunk style accommodation layout to maximize floor space. The Princess S60 is able to be used without a crew, but for those that would rather have the advantage of a little extra help, the crew cabin can accommodate one person in the aft part of the ship behind the engine room.
The Main Deck
Owners and guests will certainly not spend their entire time at sea sleeping, so attention has been given to the main deck of the S60 in regard to space and versatility. Within the interior cabin, an L shaped dining space is opposite the full galley and the wrap around seating area offers a coffee table and is directly opposite the flat screen hidden beneath the cabin to offer you and your guests a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a movie at sea.
Outside of the cabin space, lounge spaces can be found at the bow of the vessel as well as just above the swim deck. There is also an additional dining area for alfresco dining just outside the interior cabin and another comfortable seating area aft the bow lounge space. The deck remains clean and slip resistant with a teak deck so everyone onboard is able to move freely without fear of slipping when the deck is damp.
Sportbridge
The Princess S 60 yachts maintain two helm stations. The first is within the interior cabin for when the weather is not perfect and the second is probably where most captains will prefer on the Sportbridge. This space offers supreme views and the helm station can seat two in individual captain’s chairs. The rest of the space is devoted to the guests as there are multiple seating area including another dining space for guests to enjoy. The Sportbridge allows everyone to stay together without being crammed within a small helm station offering the views as well as plenty of space to maintain your world renowned tan.
