The Catalina 36 has a great open layout below decks with plenty of natural light. Entering the Main Salon the L shaped Galley is immediately to port with easy access to the cockpit. Forward on the port side is the U shaped Dinette with convertible teak table. To Starboard are two comfortable built in seats separated by a small teak table. This area can also be converted to an additional sleeping berth. Just aft of this seating space is the forward facing Navigation Desk, again with easy access to the companionway steps and cockpit.

Aft is a large stateroom with privacy door. The good sized bed allows plenty of room to stretch out and get a good nights rest. There is a hanging clothes locker and storage space for clothing. An opening port and AC vent make this space comfortable.

The Head and Shower are located forward to port. Next forward is the Vee Berth Stateroom with hanging clothes locker and storage. An overhead opening port and 12V provide natural air circulation in addition to the Air Conditioning Vent.
