Discontinued Models from a Brand Yacht Owners Love
Yachts may come in all types of styles and sizes, but it is often the seemingly small details that matter most to the owners. Since beginning in the yachting industry back in 1969, Sunseeker has always been a yacht company devoted to its customers and their designers work diligently to ensure that all details work perfectly together for the utmost happiness of the owner. That rich tradition of excellence has lasted throughout the years and even though Sunseeker has many new models, some of the older models that have since been discontinued have proven to be among the best yachts still to this day. Here is a look at some of those previous Sunseeker models still highly prized and cherished by yacht owners.
Sunseeker Predator 80
The Sunseeker Predator 80 yacht was one that was manufactured from 2012-2017. Within that seemingly short timeframe, the 81’ 8” length and 19’ 11” beam yacht held high honors within the yacht industry. The style of this Sunseeker yacht offered a long, lean, and agile performance with room for up to 8 guests within four staterooms and 2 crew members. The weight of the yacht was 123,200 lbs. and the space onboard the Sunseeker Predator 80 allowed for three full decks filled with style and luxury with various seating areas and lounge spaces both forward and aft the decks.
Sunseeker 155 Yacht
Only available for 2 years between 2014 and 2016, the 155 Yacht from Sunseeker yachts offered an expansive space for luxury living and remarkable entertaining. The expansive length of the vessel weighed in at an impressive 155’ with a beam of 30’ 8”. The design allowed for guests to be spread out over four full decks. Space onboard allows for up to 10 guests within 5 full staterooms each with their own bathroom. While onboard, the guests are easily serviced by a large crew. When equipped with bunks, the crew can be up to 10 housed in their own apartment with individual bathrooms and a full galley with laundry area, so the crew is able to be completely segregated from the rest of the guests.
Sunseeker Manhattan 63
Style and grace are part of the profile of an excellent yacht, but yachters today want to enjoy speed as well. The Sunseeker Manhattan 63 was one of the more successful previous Sunseeker models and ran from 2010 all the way to 2014. The length of the model was 69’ 1” with a 16’ 10” beam and guests were able to enjoy three different decks while traveling at speeds of up to 33 knots. The agile performance made for a smooth ride and the deep V hull design allowed the yacht to slice through the water with ease. Equipped with up to four full staterooms and bathrooms to match along with a larger than average crew quarter area aft the vessel, guests were able to enjoy the luxury experience expected from a brand like Sunseeker yachts and turn heads while doing it.
Sunseeker 130 Sport Yacht
From 2009 to 2014, the yacht making a splash in the industry was the Sunseeker 130 Sport Yacht. This sleek styled previous Sunseeker model was not merely a long yacht at 128’ 4” with a 26’ 7” beam, but a beautiful addition to any port. The unique styling was not only modern, but also made a distinct nod to the yesteryear of yachting as we know it today. With room for up to 10 guests with 6 crew members available to service their every need, a trip onboard the 130 Sport Yacht was one to be savored. MAN or Volvo Penta engines were employed to allow this vessel to travel at speeds of 27 knots taking yacht owners and their guests to points throughout the globe with a stylish exterior and luxury accommodations that we have come to expect from Sunseeker yachts.
