One build at a time

Intrepid boats are not massed produced but are built one at a time to the specifications of the customer. While there are stock models, the level of customization is limited to the personality of the buyer. When building, the hull is constructed with a composite technique, allowing for a stronger and faster ride. Additionally, as attention is given to every boat, optimization of the hull space occurs. This gives the boat a smoother and safer ride. This is not to say that other companies do not produce durable boats. A custom console

Lending to the popularity of the brand is the customization of the center console. Standard, the intrepid center console powerboats have the helm on the left side and throttle control in the middle. Joystick navigation can be added to the far left, depending upon the model and the LOA of the vessel. For most of the vessels that you will find, the center console has a dual touch screen LED display. However, this can be customized as well to accommodate various needs such as fish finder, social devices (USB connectivity), as well as upgrades on the windshield and hardtop/canvas configurations to the console.

Increased Power

Perhaps one of the biggest advantages of the intrepid models is that they can be equipped with seven marine engines. Most of the boats on the market today do not have the capacity for the Seven Marine engines, primarily because the weight and the power of the boats do not match up. However, the Intrepid Powerboats are designed for speed as well as for durability. It makes sense that the company would formulate the design of their boats to house some of the most powerful engines in the boating industry (some boats can even have quad Seven Marine engines, which translates into a great deal of Horsepower).
